Today I was in Hamilton at Sir Isaac Brock Junior school! I was originally supposed to entertain two classes of children but one thing led to another and I ended up inviting another two whole classes to join in on the pirate fun!

All I can say is WOW! These kids were amazing! Every. Single. One.

We had children from 6-8 years old and they were ALL jumping, cheering, clapping, and shouting “Bubbly Barnacles!” as loud as they could! What a stellar audience!

After the show I got a chance to sit down with the class MAGIC CLUB and teach them some tricks that I brought for them. They all had really great attitudes towards magic and I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw one of them on stage one day! I’d like to thank them individually so here’s a big THANK YOU to Jaelen, Gunit, Sharb, Michelle, Jessica, and Zachary!

All the teachers were exceptionally great as well! They worked very hard to make sure everyone knew how to be a good audience and when things started to go awry they swiftly stepped in and handled it without interrupting the show! Amazing work guys, thank you!

While we’re on the topic of the teachers, I received this beautiful card before I left! Very touching and a great testimonial piece to boot!

 

Unfortunately I am waiting on consent from the parents to use any of the photos of the children on my website, I have been given permission to post this one photo from near the start of the show since there’s no faces.
